What we changed when we removed the marketplace

The marketplace was the second-most-asked-about feature. Removing it made the product easier to explain.

We had a marketplace. Creators could publish agents, users could install them, money would change hands. It was the second-most-asked-about feature on every demo.

It also confused everyone. "Is this Amy, or is this a creator's agent running on Amy?" "Who do I pay?" "Whose prompt is this?" The marketplace bolted a second product onto the first, and the seam showed.

We deleted it. The pricing collapsed to one currency — credits — and the elevator pitch went from two sentences to one. Sometimes the right move is to ship less surface, not more.

Why we moved to credit pricing

Seat licenses force teams to over-buy. Per-call pricing punishes experimentation. Credits are the only model that fits how agents actually get used.
